Summer poster campaign

A nostalgic escape for busy commuters

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park celebrates its 60th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion we have worked alongside the guys at PCNP to develop a poster campaign, in and around key railway stations, to encourage people to ‘Visit Pembrokeshire Coast National Park’.

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park came to us to help develop a poster campaign to promote the park’s natural beauty, coastline and abundant wildlife.

The posters needed to have cut through in a competitive marketplace, with every tourism based company purporting that their destination was the place to visit this summer.

The inspiration behind the posters was the style of the travel posters of old. We feel the beautiful vibrant colours and simple sans serif typography produces visually striking posters that still don’t look out of place, even after all these years.

This campaign was a finalist for two CIM Awards, winner of a Canmol Award for ‘Tourism, hotels, leisure, place & destination marketing, travel and transport’, and winner of three Marketing Design Awards for ‘Leisure and Tourism’, ‘Customer Comms’ and ‘Consumer Excellence’.
