If content is King, then the King wears gold.
We joined the LoveGold (part of the World Gold Council) team in July of 2014 as creative content designers and management team to their Sitecore CMS.
The multi-language, fashion and lifestyle website was originally built by AKQA. We were tasked with utilising what they had built to create and design unique and charismatic content. This included feature articles for jewellery designers and bloggers from all over the world, interviews with jewellery designers, stores and industry icons, global city shopping guides and more. Along with which we crafted copy and advised on the usage and development of the existing guidelines.
After a few months on the project, LoveGold asked us to create and integrate an ecommerce system so that they could sell their own jewellery products and designs. Harnessing the power of Shopify meant that we were able to do this seamlessly with the Sitecore CMS without disrupting the incumbent development. Through the Future Heirlooms campaign we were able to showcase and offer LoveGold jewellery and affiliate products alike without breaking or mismanoeuvring the user journey.
