Every Christmas, Pukka launches a limited-edition advent calendar that celebrates its range of organic herbal teas. For this edition, the ambition reached beyond the product itself. The calendar would become the gateway to a series of exclusive digital rewards, extending the experience throughout December with recipes, yoga sessions, breathing exercises and seasonal wellbeing content.
Our brief was to design a multilingual campaign microsite that worked seamlessly across international markets while encouraging customers to return to the calendar each day, connecting every cup of tea with a new moment of discovery.
Heartbeat
Opening an advent calendar should feel like a small daily reward. We wanted the digital experience to capture exactly the same feeling.
Every interaction was designed to be light, welcoming and rewarding, complementing the physical calendar rather than competing with it. Customers would discover a new tea each day before unlocking carefully curated wellbeing content that encouraged them to slow down, take a moment for themselves and enjoy the ritual behind every blend.
The experience was intentionally simple. Short-form content, intuitive navigation and a mobile-first approach kept every interaction effortless, allowing the focus to remain on the joy of returning each day rather than learning how to use the platform. The result was a seamless journey between product and digital, where each enhanced the value of the other.
Impact
The campaign created Pukka’s most successful connected advent experience, encouraging customers to move naturally between the physical calendar and digital content throughout the festive season.
Daily engagement, website visits and customer interaction all increased, while the combination of exclusive wellbeing content and product discovery strengthened the value of the advent calendar beyond the teas themselves. The project demonstrated how thoughtful digital experiences can extend the life of a physical product, creating deeper engagement long after the calendar has been opened.
