We’re really pleased to share our partnership with Sussex Wildlife Trust, working on their new website. Together our aim is to create a new digital platform that will further help people feel part of something important through a clear understanding of cause and proof of real change making.
The Trust is a wildlife conservation charity for everyone who cares about nature in Sussex and beyond, focusing on the rich natural life that runs through the county’s towns, countryside and coast. By working alongside local people, they help nature thrive in places that might otherwise be overlooked.
As the largest charity protecting the wildlife and natural environment of Sussex, they’re moving toward an ambitious 2030 vision. The new website will reflect that shift, opening clearer paths for supporters to act, whether that’s joining, donating, volunteering or discovering what’s happening across the county.
The brief reaches well beyond function. It calls for guidance that’s accessible to all, content that builds confidence and a structure that eases the load on the teams who keep the Trust’s important work moving. Together, we’re excited to create a digital space that invites people in, strengthens collective action and supports a mission rooted in care, community and the belief that future generations deserve the same sense of wonder the natural world offers today.
“We’ve been hugely impressed by Lee, Andrew, Ben and the team at Hatched, who have brought heaps of expertise but also curiosity and fresh ideas to what is a major project for us. They’ve helped us break out of some of the bad habits we may have formed around our web content, and opened new perspectives and possibilities. Always with calm confidence and a listening ear. We can’t wait to launch a website and a wider digital approach that much better reflects our ambitions to defend and restore nature.”
– Charlie Peverett, Digital Communications Lead
“We read new briefs every week, but the entire team was passionate about the possibility of work with Sussex Wildlife Trust and the opportunity to energise a host of audiences through their vital conservation mission.
Charitable trusts and organisations form a large part of our experience and portfolio to date, so we’re excited to bring our experience to the table, but more importantly, to offer new ideas and UX thinking, outside of the Trust’s purview.
We’ve already begun the work and we know working with the team at Sussex Wildlife Trust, who live the brand’s mission, day in day out, is going to be a fun and extremely fulfilling experience, both from an agency point of view and a personal one. “
