The International Institute of Diamond Grading & Research (IIDGR) is part of the De Beers Group of Companies. It’s one of the only organisations of its kind, solely dedicated to the most coveted of precious stones. Their expertise, accuracy and probity are integral to everything they do, so an outdated website was just not ‘on brand’. It was time for a refresh; our brief was to reflect their ethos and align a new, visually compelling design with the expansion and innovation of their business.
By adopting a mobile-first approach to the website, we created a new online presence, which empowers brand messaging in the form of striking visuals and clear, engaging headlines. This meant their ethos, products and innovation came to the forefront of the website. The new design establishes a user-friendly journey alongside the clean design, crafting each element of the website with the user in mind.
The new website showcases contemporary page layouts, utilises white space and has hints of brand character through animation, colour and typography. The result is a clear, informative and engaging website that reflects their brand proposition and gives the business room for growth in the future.
